Your desires in harmony with the universe

When you want a successful business, when you want wealth, when you want a satisfying life
- the Universe wants those things too.
That's such extravagantly good news that it's almost hard to take in. Here it is again: When you want a successful business, when you want wealth, when you want a satisfying life
- the Universe wants those things too.
In fact, because we are individualised aspects of universal spirit, the Universe inspires us to want. That’s why a
heart's desire moves us so powerfully.
Your desires are not only legitimate, they are sacred. And they are fully supported by spirit
- your desires are in harmony with the Universe.
The phrase "not my will but Thine be done" used to frighten the heck out of me. What if
God's will for me was something I really didn’t want to do? Would I have to submit to a life of misery to please God?
Now I realise that spirit's will for us is always something that delights and fulfills our souls.
What delightful desire have you been ignoring because it seems too grand and too impossible to attain?
Emmet Fox says that 'the most secret, sacred wish that lies deep down at the bottom of your heart... (that) seems to be so far beyond, anything that you are or have at the present
time' is the very thing that spirit is calling you to become. In fact, that's exactly what the Bible says in Ephesians 3:20. You will do yourself a huge favour by making this verse one of your affirmations.
Most of us are settling for far too little. We don’t believe that our desires are supported by the Universe.
Because we haven’t understood how the Law of Attraction works, most of us have attracted disappointments and roadblocks.
We didn't know that setbacks were intended to wake us up so that we could discover how to receive what we’ve wanted.
Today, knowledge of Universal Law is becoming almost mainstream. During this time of spiritual awakening, we can shake off the past and make a new beginning.
Honor your desires as the desires of the Universe. Make a commitment to them. What is one simple step you can take today to move toward having them? There is always a simple step. Look for it. Take it.
