Research Survey Overview – Most Admired Companies In Africa

Most admired in africa – a view beyond our borders

 

 

PMR.africa has completed its annual survey on the most admired companies in Africa. The respondents nominated and rated the companies in Africa across industry sectors on the following attributes:

  • corporate governance;
  • management expertise; and
  • contribution to the economic growth and development of the country in which the company or institution is operating.

The ratings are based on the perceptions of the respondents.

How the survey was conducted

Universe: African embassies, High Commissions and Trade Offices based in Pretoria,
South Africa.
Timing: Interviews were conducted during June, July and August 2008.
Sample: 23 respondents comprising of Ambassadors, High Commissioners and
Trade Officers representing African countries.
Methodology: Interviews were carried out telephonically utilising semi-structured
questionnaires. Back-checks were conducted at all stages of the fieldwork.
